This December, Cantemus presents "Once Upon A Winter: Tales of Wonder Through a Child's Eyes", an imaginative concert exploring the season through stories of wonder, memory, family, and hope. Featuring Matthew Harris's A Child's Christmas in Wales alongside a rich tapestry of contemporary and traditional repertoire from diverse cultural perspectives, the program pairs Cantemus with Lexington Children's Chorus in a celebration of shared humanity. "A Place Called Home" explores one of our deepest human desires: the search for belonging. Through music that reflects memory, welcome, hope, and community, Cantemus invites audiences to consider what it means to find—or create—a place where we are known and where we belong. From intimate reflections to joyful celebrations, this program offers a musical journey that reminds us that home is more than a place; it is built through compassion, connection, and the people who welcome us in.
